Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing tape dispenser?
Yes. This 2" wide tape is compatible with standard carton sealing dispensers. For optimal dispensing speed and consistent adhesion, verify your dispenser supports 2" width rolls. Browse our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers for dispenser solutions engineered for natural rubber tapes.
How does natural rubber adhesion compare to synthetic alternatives?
Tape Logic #53 natural rubber tape provides the most aggressive adhesive of any pressure-sensitive tape. It penetrates corrugated fluting faster, eliminating rub-down time and reducing seal failures. This makes it for high-speed operations where consistent, reliable closures directly impact throughput.
Can this tape handle humid or cold environments?
Yes. The moisture-resistant PVC natural rubber formula performs reliably in damp conditions and operates across a wide 0°‚150°F temperature range, making it ideal for cold storage, outdoor stacking, and humidity-variable warehouse environments.
What's the benefit of 2.1 mil thickness for case sealing?
The 2.1 mil PVC backing provides tear and puncture resistance while minimizing stretch. This prevents tape failure during rough handling, aggressive case stacking, and prolonged storage, ensuring your boxes maintain seal integrity from pack to delivery.
