Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispensers?
Yes. Tape Logic #57 natural rubber tape is engineered for standard dispenser cores and feeds smoothly through most commercial carton sealing dispensers. Verify your dispenser accommodates 2" width rolls for optimal performance.
How does natural rubber adhesive reduce line downtime compared to synthetic options?
Natural rubber penetrates corrugated fibers immediately upon contact, creating aggressive grip without requiring extended rub-down pressure. This faster adhesion development increases your sealing speed and reduces operator fatigue, directly improving throughput on high-volume lines.
Can I use this tape in cold storage or humid environments?
Absolutely. The moisture-resistant formula maintains consistent adhesion in damp conditions, and the 0°F to 150°F operating range covers cold storage, ambient warehouses, and heated facilities without performance degradation or delamination.
What's the difference between 1.7 mil thickness and thicker alternatives?
1.7 mil provides optimal balance for corrugated sealing, thick enough for durability and aggressive adhesion, yet thin enough to reduce tape waste and cost per case while dispensing smoothly without jamming. Heavy-duty 2+ mil tapes increase expense without meaningful performance gain on standard corrugated.
