About this item
2 inch x 55 yd clear polypropylene carton sealing tape, 2 rolls per pack, 110 total yards. Hot melt adhesive packing tape for sealing corrugated shipping and moving boxes; bonds to film and irregular cartons and holds from 32 to 104 F. Also called box tape, packaging tape, or carton tape; 2 inch equals 48 mm width. Polypropylene with hot melt adhesive, not acrylic: the 2 in x 110 yd acrylic tape 36-roll case is a separate listing. Works in standard tape dispensers.
Common questions
Will this tape work with our existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #800 Economy Tape is core-compatible with standard 2" tape dispensers used on most packing lines. The 55-yard rolls fit all universal carton sealing machines. Verify your dispenser accepts 2-inch width tape before ordering.
How does this tape perform on film-lined or plastic-coated cartons?
Excellent adhesion. The hot melt formula specifically bonds well to film surfaces, making it ideal for high-performance corrugated boxes with plastic liners or coated finishes commonly used in food and electronics packaging.
What makes this tape 'economy' without sacrificing seal quality?
Economy pricing comes from polypropylene construction and organized hot melt adhesive formulation, not from reduced performance. You get reliable sealing at lower per-unit cost, use for volume operations where every penny matters across thousands of cases monthly.
Will this tape handle our temperature-variable warehouse environment?
Absolutely. With application temperatures from 32°F, 104°F and service temperatures from 10°F, 120°F, this tape performs reliably whether your facility includes ambient, climate-controlled, or cold storage zones. The hot melt adhesive remains effective across seasonal temperature swings.
