Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #900 Economy Tape is core-compatible with all standard 2" tape dispensers and hand-held guns. The 2.5 mil thickness and hot melt adhesive provide smooth, predictable feed through mechanical and pneumatic dispensing systems. Browse our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers for optimized dispenser models.
How does this tape perform on film-lined or poly-coated cartons?
The hot melt adhesive formula excels on polyethylene film and coated surfaces, delivering excellent adhesion where pressure-sensitive tapes often fail. The elongation flexibility means the tape stretches slightly with carton movement, reducing peel-back failure on film-lined boxes.
Can I use this tape on over-stuffed or irregular cartons?
Absolutely. The elongation in the hot melt formula specifically supports sealing over-packed boxes and non-standard shapes that traditional tapes cannot accommodate. The tape stretches under pressure without tearing, providing reliable closure on boxes with irregular flaps or slight misalignment.
What temperature conditions will this tape handle?
Apply the tape in environments between 32°F and 104°F. Once sealed, the tape performs reliably in service conditions from 10°F to 120°F, making it ideal for warehouse, cold storage, and transitional temperature environments. Performance remains consistent across seasonal temperature shifts.
