Common questions
How does pre-printed messaging tape reduce operational costs?
By combining box sealing with packing list communication in one step, you eliminate the time and labor required to apply separate labels. This reduces handling time per package by 15-30 seconds, which compounds to significant hourly savings across high-volume operations. Workers perform one application instead of two, improving workflow efficiency and reducing material waste.
Will the 2.2 mil adhesive hold in cold or humid shipping conditions?
Yes. The 2.2 mil acrylic adhesive is specifically formulated to maintain strong adhesion across temperature fluctuations and moisture exposure. The waterproof construction ensures the tape and pre-printed message remain intact during transit, storage, and handling, even in challenging environmental conditions like refrigerated or outdoor storage.
Can I use standard tape dispensers with these rolls?
Yes, these rolls are compatible with all standard 2" carton sealing tape dispensers. We recommend Tape Logic brand dispensers (available separately) for optimal feed and consistent application. Using a dispenser increases application speed and ensures uniform tape tension across all packages.
How many boxes can one case seal?
With 36 rolls of 55-yard tape per case, you have 1,980 total yards of sealing material. Average box sealing uses 1.5-2 linear yards of tape per box, so one case typically seals 990-1,320 boxes depending on box size and sealing pattern. This makes bulk purchasing economical for high-volume fulfillment operations.
