Common questions
Will this black tape work with my existing tape dispensers?
Yes. This tape features a standard 3-inch core diameter and 2-inch width that's compatible with all industrial hand-crank and motorized carton sealing dispensers on the market. No equipment modifications required.
How does acrylic adhesive compare to hot-melt for high-speed packing lines?
Acrylic adhesive provides instant grab and adhesion to mixed corrugate materials without equipment downtime for adhesive melting or cooling cycles. The 2.2 mil thickness offers faster application speeds on automated lines while maintaining reliable seals across temperature variations.
Can I use this black tape for color-coding shipments like the examples suggest?
Absolutely. The bold black color creates high-contrast visibility on brown and white cartons. Many supervisors use black for standard ground shipments or special handling alerts. This tape is available in 6 additional colors (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, White) to build a complete color-coding system.
What's the shelf life and storage requirement for these rolls?
When stored in cool, dry conditions (50-75°F, <65% humidity), acrylic adhesive tape maintains full bonding strength for 24+ months. Store rolls vertically or horizontally on clean surfaces away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent adhesive hardening.
