Common questions
Will this tape work with our existing tape dispensers?
Yes. The 3-inch core is standard-compatible with virtually all handheld and automatic carton sealing dispensers used in packing operations. The acrylic adhesive formula feeds smoothly without sticking or bunching, ensuring consistent dispenser performance even during extended production runs.
How does the 2.2 mil thickness affect sealing performance?
At 2.2 mil, this tape delivers optimal balance for high-volume operations: thick enough to provide reliable adhesion and puncture resistance on corrugated surfaces, yet thin enough to maximize roll length (110 yards) and reduce material costs per case sealed compared to heavier-gauge alternatives.
Does orange color fade during storage or in transit?
No. The color is integrated into the polypropylene film, not applied as a surface coating, so it maintains visibility throughout the product lifecycle, essential for reliable color-coding in busy warehouses where boxes may sit exposed before shipment.
Can we use this on boxes sealed with water-activated tape, or does it require clean surfaces?
For optimal adhesion, apply to clean, dry corrugated surfaces free of dust, moisture, or competing adhesives. The acrylic formulation provides strong initial tack on standard corrugated, but surface preparation, especially on recycled boxes, improves seal reliability and reduces potential disputes over shipment integrity.
