Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing tape dispenser?
This 2" x 220 yds long yardage tape is compatible with the Tape Logic #TDHDX2 special tape dispenser. Standard 110-yard dispensers may require adjustment. Verify your dispenser specifications before ordering to ensure optimal performance and smooth feeding.
How does acrylic adhesive perform compared to hot melt on corrugated boxes?
Acrylic adhesive provides excellent core compatibility with standard cardboard tubes and maintains consistent adhesion strength across the 32°F-140°F operating range. Unlike hot melt, it resists yellowing and is ideal for sealed containers or cold chain applications where temperature fluctuations occur.
Why does the 220-yard length matter for my packing line?
Long yardage rolls double your tape supply per changeover, reducing downtime between roll switches and labor required for dispenser maintenance. For high-throughput operations, fewer interruptions directly increase cases sealed per shift while lowering total cost per roll.
Is this tape compliant with major shipping carriers?
Yes. This tape meets UPS and U.S. Postal Service regulations for carton sealing, ensuring your sealed packages pass carrier inspection without rework or rejection. Clear tape visibility also allows barcodes and labels to scan without interference.
