Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing box sealing dispenser?
Yes. Scotch® 371 tape fits all standard 2-inch tape dispensers used in packing line operations. The conformable polypropylene backing feeds smoothly through both manual and electric dispensers without jamming or tearing, ensuring use with your current equipment.
How does this tape perform on different corrugated board types?
The hot melt rubber adhesive provides adhesion to both kraft and white corrugated surfaces across varying humidity and temperature conditions. It resists the peeling and edge separation common with cheaper alternatives, delivering consistent seal quality regardless of box substrate or environmental conditions.
Can I use this tape for cold storage and outdoor shipping?
Absolutely. The 1.9 mil polypropylene backing and waterproof, weather-resistant adhesive maintain their bonding integrity in cold storage environments and during outdoor transport. This makes it ideal for refrigerated logistics and shipments exposed to moisture and temperature fluctuations.
What's the cost advantage of buying by the case?
Purchasing 36-roll cases reduces per-roll material costs significantly compared to smaller quantities, improving your packaging cost per carton. For high-volume packing lines processing hundreds of boxes daily, case purchases ensure consistent supply, eliminate frequent reordering, and maximize budget efficiency across your shipping operations.
