Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing 2-inch core carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. This economy tape features a standard 2-inch core that's fully compatible with all Packrift carton sealing tape dispensers and most industry-standard dispensing equipment. Verify your dispenser specifications match 2-inch core requirements before ordering.
How does the hot melt adhesive perform on irregular or over-stuffed cartons?
The hot melt adhesive formula provides extra elongation that flexes with carton irregularities and maintains strong adhesion on over-stuffed boxes. This prevents seal failures common with rigid adhesives, reducing production line stoppages and rework.
Is this tape suitable for cold storage or outdoor shipping conditions?
Yes, this tape maintains full adhesion performance between 32°F and 104°F. It's suitable for refrigerated warehouses and standard outdoor shipping environments. For extreme conditions outside this range, consult our product specialists.
What yield should I expect from each roll, and how does that impact my sealing cost per case?
Each roll delivers 110 yards of 2-inch wide tape. At typical 2-inch seal lengths, each roll seals approximately 660 cases, or roughly 23,760 cases per 36-roll case. This high yield, combined with our economy pricing, minimizes per-case sealing costs in high-volume operations.
