Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #600 Economy Tape is compatible with all standard 2" core tape dispensers and automatic carton sealing machinery. The 1.6 mil thickness and 2" width are industry-standard dimensions. For dispenser options, explore our Carton Sealing Tape Dispensers collection to optimize your setup.
How does hot melt adhesive improve sealing performance on irregular boxes?
Hot melt adhesive provides extra elongation, the tape stretches slightly as it conforms to uneven surfaces, bumps, and over-stuffed areas without breaking. This prevents common sealing failures where standard tapes crack or separate. The shear strength locks the seal immediately without curing time, maintaining line speed.
Can I use this tape in freezers or heated warehouses?
The 32°‚104°F application temperature range covers standard cold storage (35°F+) and warm warehouse environments (up to 100°F). For extreme-temperature applications below 32°F or above 104°F, consult our specialty tape options. Performance data sheets available upon request for specific conditions.
What makes this economy tape cost-effective without sacrificing quality?
Tape Logic #600 uses 1.6 mil polypropylene, thinner than premium grades but engineered for standard carton sealing. Hot melt adhesion is optimized for polypropylene rather than kraft, reducing formulation cost. Volume purchasing at 110 yards per roll and 6-roll cases minimizes per-unit costs while maintaining excellent shear strength and adhesion for repetitive applications.
