Common questions
Will this tape work on my existing carton sealing machine?
Yes. The 2" x 1000 yds. format is compatible with standard tape dispensers and automatic packing line equipment. The dispenser-ready core fits most industrial tape machines without modification.
How does this tape perform on over-stuffed or irregular cartons?
The hot melt adhesive and elongation properties allow the tape to stretch and conform to irregular box shapes without splitting. This makes it ideal for over-packed items that create uneven sealing surfaces.
What makes the hot melt adhesive better for production environments?
Hot melt adhesive provides quiet, consistent release and easy unwinding, reducing operator fatigue and tape jams. It also delivers faster bond strength and works reliably across the 45°-110°F application range common in packing facilities.
Is this an economy tape, and will it still seal reliably?
Yes. While positioned as economy tape for cost-sensitive operations, the 2.5 mil polypropylene and 38 lbs/inch tensile strength deliver robust performance for standard carton sealing. It excels when volume and consistency matter more than premium features.
