Common questions
Will this blue tape work with my existing 3-inch carton sealing tape dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic colored carton sealing tape is fully compatible with standard 3-inch tape dispensers. The 55-yard length and 3-inch width match conventional dispenser specifications. If you need a new dispenser, we carry models optimized for high-speed packing lines.
How does acrylic adhesive perform compared to hot-melt adhesive on corrugate?
Acrylic adhesive provides moisture resistance and temperature stability, making it ideal for warehouse and shipping environments where boxes experience humidity, temperature swings, and storage delays. It bonds instantly and doesn't soften in heat, ensuring reliable seals from packing line through delivery.
Can I order different colors to code multiple shipment types on the same line?
Absolutely. Tape Logic offers seven colors, Blue, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, White, and Black. Many supervisors use multiple colors on a single line to instantly communicate shipping method, destination region, or handling instructions to dock staff.
Is 2.2 mil thickness adequate for heavy or oversized cartons?
Yes. The 2.2 mil polypropylene construction delivers strength for standard case sealing across all carton weights. For extremely heavy or irregular boxes, we also stock 3.1 mil and premium reinforced options. Contact our line consultants to match your specific box profile.
