Common questions
Will this green tape work with my current 3-inch tape dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic carton sealing tape features a standard 3-inch core diameter, ensuring compatibility with all industry-standard 3-inch manual and automatic dispensers used on packing lines.
How does the 2.2 mil thickness compare to heavier-duty tape options?
The 2.2 mil gauge provides an optimal balance for most packing operations, sufficient adhesion strength for corrugated boxes while reducing material costs and dispenser jam-ups compared to 3.0 mil alternatives. For unusually heavy boxes or extreme temperatures, consider upgrading to thicker variants.
Does the acrylic adhesive perform well on kraft paper and plastic?
Yes. The acrylic adhesive formulation bonds reliably to corrugated cardboard, kraft paper, and polyethylene films, maintaining consistent seal integrity across diverse packaging materials commonly used in fulfillment environments.
Why use color-coded tape instead of standard clear tape?
Color-coded tape enables rapid visual sorting at the packing line, reducing shipping errors and speeding fulfillment workflows. Green tape can designate standard ground shipments, while other colors flag expedited delivery, regional destinations, or special handling requirements, eliminating manual label verification steps.
