Common questions
Will this tape work with our existing tape dispenser?
Yes. This tape features a standard 3-inch core that fits all common carton sealing tape dispensers. Verify your dispenser accepts 3" core width before ordering. Packrift offers compatible dispensers if you need upgrades.
How does the 2.2 mil thickness compare to heavier gauges?
The 2.2 mil thickness provides optimal balance for standard corrugated boxes, sufficient adhesion strength while minimizing material waste and cost per case. For heavy or oversized cartons, consider our 3.1 mil options.
Can I use white tape alongside colored tape for multi-level color coding?
Absolutely. White tape works as a neutral base or secondary identifier in color-coding systems. Combine with blue, red, or other Tape Logic colors to create custom sortation workflows for different shipping carriers or product categories.
What's the shelf life and storage requirement for this tape?
When stored in cool, dry conditions (60, 80°F, 40, 60% humidity), the acrylic adhesive maintains full strength for 2+ years. Store rolls upright to prevent core warping and preserve dispenser compatibility.
