About this item

3 in x 55 yd 2.2 mil yellow carton sealing tape 6-Pack. Pack of 6 (6-pack). Keeps cartons closed from packing bench to doorstep. Also called packing tape, carton sealing tape, or box tape. Common questions
Will yellow tape work with my existing tape dispenser?
Yes. This tape features a standard 3-inch core diameter and 2.2 mil thickness compatible with all manual and electric 3-inch carton sealing tape dispensers. It feeds smoothly without jamming or misalignment issues common to low-quality alternatives.
How does acrylic adhesive perform on cold surfaces or moisture-prone environments?
Acrylic adhesive activates through hand pressure and maintains bond strength in cold storage and high-humidity conditions. It outperforms rubber-based adhesives on cardboard at temperatures below 50°F and resists humidity-induced separation that can compromise case integrity.
Can I use this tape for color-coding multiple shipment types simultaneously?
Absolutely. Pair yellow with complementary colors (red for hot shipments, blue for specific carriers, white for standard ground) to create a visual sorting system at your packing station. This reduces mis-shipments and accelerates throughput by enabling staff to identify destinations instantly.
What's the typical yield per roll, and how many rolls do I need monthly?
Each 55-yard roll seals approximately 50-70 boxes depending on box size and sealing method (single vs. double strip). A case of 6 rolls (330 yards total) handles 300-420 boxes. Most mid-size packing lines use 2-4 cases monthly; calculate based on your daily shipment volume and box dimensions.
