Common questions
Will this tape work with my carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. The 3" width and standard core are compatible with virtually all manual and automatic carton sealing dispensers. The quiet unwind design prevents jams and reduces operator fatigue on high-speed lines.
Is this tape strong enough for medium-weight boxes?
Absolutely. With 25 pounds per inch tensile strength and clear polypropylene construction, it securely seals light-to-medium weight corrugated boxes. The acrylic adhesive provides immediate, lasting hold on paper and cardboard surfaces.
How long does this tape last in storage or shipping?
The 2.0 mil construction offers excellent aging resistance to both sunlight and fluorescent lighting, maintaining adhesive strength throughout storage and transit. Sealed cases remain secure even after prolonged exposure to typical warehouse and distribution conditions.
Why choose Scotch® 311 over generic alternatives?
Scotch® 311 is engineered for industrial packaging with proven dispenser compatibility, quiet release, and consistent adhesion. Fewer tape jams, reduced downtime, and reliable sealing mean lower total cost of ownership for your packing line operation.
