Common questions
Will this tape adhere to boxes with high recycled content?
Yes. Scotch® 373 is specifically formulated to adhere instantly to cartons containing high levels of recycled content, eliminating the need for multiple tape applications or adhesion issues common with standard tapes on recycled substrates.
Is this tape compatible with automatic box sealing machines?
Yes. The standard 3-inch core and consistent 2.5 mil thickness are compatible with virtually all commercial tape dispensers and automated packing equipment. The high edge tear and split resistance prevents jams and downtime.
How does this tape perform in humid or wet storage environments?
The polypropylene backing and synthetic rubber adhesive provide excellent moisture resistance, maintaining seal integrity in humid warehouses and during shipment through variable climate conditions. Abrasion resistance further protects seals during handling.
What is the cost advantage over premium alternatives?
At 55 yards per roll in a 24-roll case, this tape delivers repetitive-use durability at a lower cost-per-foot than many competing brands, while maintaining performance standards that reduce rework and customer returns.
