Common questions
Is this tape compatible with our existing water-activated tape dispensers?
Yes. Tape Logic #7700 works with all standard WAT dispensers, including Tape Logic brand systems. The 3" core width and paper backing ensure reliable feeding without jamming. Verify your dispenser accepts 3" rolls; most commercial models support this standard size.
Does water-activated tape hold up in cold storage or hot shipping conditions?
Absolutely. Unlike synthetic hot-melt tapes that fail in temperature extremes, this water-activated formulation maintains full adhesive strength from sub-zero cold storage through heated warehouse environments. The fiberglass reinforcement prevents brittleness regardless of thermal stress.
How much bonding strength does the fiberglass reinforcement add compared to standard paper tape?
The strategically bonded fiberglass yarns between paper sheets deliver significantly higher tensile strength, preventing tape splitting under carton stress and providing holding power for heavier shipments. This extra margin of strength reduces sealing failures and customer returns due to tape separation.
Can supervisors use this tape on irregularly shaped boxes or damaged carton edges?
Yes. The excellent flexibility allows the tape to conform to carton corners, dimples, and irregular surfaces without creasing or losing adhesion. The fiberglass reinforcement maintains integrity even when applied at angles, making it ideal for non-standard packaging that standard rigid tapes cannot seal reliably.
