Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #900 Economy Tape's 3" width and standard core are compatible with all manual and pneumatic carton sealing dispensers. The hot melt adhesive provides quiet, smooth release for operator comfort during high-volume runs. Review your dispenser specifications or contact us to confirm core compatibility.
How does this tape perform on film-lined cartons?
This 2.5 mil tape adheres exceptionally well to polyethylene and polypropylene film liners common in corrugated boxes. The hot melt formula creates immediate tack and strong final bond without requiring pressure or time to set, ideal for fast-moving packing lines.
Can I use this tape for over-stuffed or irregular boxes?
Absolutely. The hot melt adhesive provides extra elongation that accommodates box shape variations and over-stuffed cartons without edge lift or seal failure. This reduces rework and improves first-pass sealing efficiency on busy lines.
What temperature range should I expect from this tape?
Apply this tape between 32°-104°F for optimal performance. Sealed packages maintain integrity in environments ranging 10°-120°F. These ranges cover standard warehouse and vehicle conditions, making it suitable for domestic and climate-controlled storage.
