Common questions
Will this tape hold without excessive rub-down pressure on my packing line?
Yes. Tartan™ 8934 filament tape holds with minimal rub-down, allowing operators to seal cases quickly without additional pressure application. This reduces cycle time and operator strain on high-volume lines.
Is this tape compatible with standard filament tape dispensers?
Yes. The standard 3-inch core is fully compatible with industry-standard filament tape dispensers. See the Filament Tape Dispensers link for compatible equipment options.
What surfaces does this tape adhere to reliably?
The synthetic rubber resin adhesive sticks well to plastics, metals, and corrugated surfaces, ideal for mixed-material packaging applications common in light-duty operations.
Is the clear backing suitable for barcode scanning?
Yes. The scuff-resistant Scotchpro™ clear backing maintains transparency for barcode visibility and scanning without interference, supporting automated processing workflows.
