Common questions
Will this masking tape stick reliably in my automated dispensing system without causing core jams?
Yes. The 6.1 mil crepe paper backing provides optimal core compatibility with standard tape dispensers. The pressure-sensitive adhesive maintains consistent tack throughout the 60-yard length without accumulating residue that causes jams, and the natural crepe finish prevents edge curling that can bind in dispenser wheels.
How does this tape perform during case sealing with moisture and solvents present?
Tape Logic 2600 is engineered to resist both moisture and solvent exposure, making it ideal for packing lines where humidity, adhesives, or cleaning agents are present. The 6.1 mil thickness creates a moisture barrier that prevents saturation, ensuring clean adhesion remains intact from application through shipping.
What surfaces will this tape adhere to without requiring a primer or special surface prep?
This masking tape adheres directly to cardboard, kraft paper, plastic, metal, and painted surfaces without pre-treatment. The natural rubber-based adhesive provides immediate tack and sustained hold on packing line materials, eliminating downtime from surface preparation.
Is a case of 72 rolls enough to supply a typical packing line for a month?
Usage depends on your line speed and tape width requirements. A case of 72 rolls (1/2" width) typically supports small-to-medium production environments for 2-4 weeks. For high-volume operations, we recommend stocking 2-3 cases and tracking consumption to establish optimal reorder points that prevent line stoppages.
