Common questions
Will this tape work in my existing handheld or bench-mounted dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic masking tape uses industry-standard 3-inch cores that fit virtually all manual dispensers and tabletop case sealing machines. Verify your dispenser's width compatibility, this 1-inch tape is the most common width for standard dispensers.
How does yellow tape perform compared to clear tape for case sealing?
Yellow crepe masking tape excels at visibility and color-coding without the shine or glare of clear tape. Its matte finish and natural rubber adhesion provide consistent sticking power to corrugate, though it's not rated for high-temperature applications like reinforced kraft tape.
What temperature range should I expect for packing line performance?
This tape performs reliably in medium-temperature environments (typically 40, 100°F), making it ideal for standard warehouse and production floor conditions. For refrigerated storage or extreme heat applications, consult our temperature-rated alternatives.
How much tape do I need per case for a typical packing line?
A case of 12 rolls (720 total yards) typically handles 100, 200 cases per day, depending on tape usage per box. For high-volume lines, consider bulk ordering at case-level pricing to maintain inventory and reduce per-roll costs.
