Common questions
Will this tape adhere properly to corrugated cardboard and kraft paper?
Yes. The 6.1 mil crepe paper backing with rubber resin adhesive is engineered for optimal adhesion to corrugated, kraft, and paper-based surfaces common in case sealing and packaging operations. Adhesion remains consistent across temperature ranges of 40°F to 100°F, ensuring reliable performance throughout the production day.
Is this tape suitable for use with automatic tape dispensers on packing lines?
Absolutely. The 1" width and 60-yard length are standard for most industrial tape dispensers, including both handheld and mounted packing line systems. The uniform roll construction prevents jamming and ensures smooth, consistent tape feed during high-speed case sealing operations.
How does moisture resistance benefit case sealing in humid environments?
The moisture-resistant formulation prevents tape adhesion degradation in high-humidity warehouses and tropical climates where ambient moisture typically weakens standard masking tapes. This extends shelf life of sealed cases and reduces the risk of case failure during storage and transit.
Can this tape be removed without leaving residue or damaging equipment surfaces?
Yes. The crepe paper construction is specifically designed for clean removal without adhesive residue, making it ideal for temporary equipment masking and surface protection. It removes cleanly from painted equipment, machinery, and finished cardboard without damage or cleanup requirements.
