Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing masking tape dispenser on the packing line?
Yes. The 1 1/2" width and standard roll configuration are compatible with most industrial tape dispensers used in packaging operations. The 5.2 mil thickness feeds smoothly without snagging, ensuring consistent application and minimal line downtime.
How does this tape perform when sealing boxes with sharp corners?
The crepe paper backing is specifically engineered to maintain integrity when formed around corners without tearing or peeling. This corner conformability prevents seal failures at stress points, a critical advantage for case sealing on irregular and standard corrugated boxes.
What adhesion can I expect on kraft and coated cardboard surfaces?
The rubber adhesive provides reliable pressure-sensitive adhesion to kraft, clay-coated, and standard corrugated surfaces common in packaging. Adhesion is immediate and builds strength over time, ensuring your case seals hold during storage, handling, and transport.
Is this tape rated for heated environments or warm storage conditions?
Yes. This tape withstands temperatures up to 150°F for 30 minutes, making it suitable for warm warehouse conditions, heated shipping containers, and facilities with elevated ambient temperatures typical in industrial packing environments.
