Common questions
Will this tape work with standard dispenser equipment on my packing line?
Yes. The 1.5" width is compatible with most industrial tape dispensers, and the crepe paper backing feeds smoothly without jamming. The 6.3 mil thickness provides optimal balance between dispenser handling and seal strength.
How does this tape perform on corrugated or irregular case surfaces?
The rubber-based adhesive and crepe paper construction offer conformability to uneven surfaces common in packaging operations. This ensures reliable adhesion across case flaps, edges, and seams without slippage during transport.
Can I use this on production lines with heat exposure?
Yes. The 3M 301+ resists temperatures up to 225°F for up to 30 minutes, making it suitable for heat-sealing areas and conveyors. This heat resistance maintains adhesion integrity throughout the sealing and curing process.
What's the shelf life, and how should I store these rolls?
Store rolls in a cool, dry environment (50-75°F, 40-60% humidity) to maintain adhesive performance. Proper storage ensures consistent bonding when rolls are loaded into dispensers.
