Common questions
Will this tape work with my automatic tape dispensers?
Yes. The 2" width and consistent 4.9 mil crepe paper thickness are compatible with standard industrial tape dispensers used on packing lines. Test with your specific dispenser model to confirm core compatibility before full-line integration.
How does light blue tape improve packing line efficiency?
Color-coded tape enables supervisors and line operators to instantly identify sealed cases, track batch runs, and separate orders visually without scanning or manual inspection. This reduces case mix-ups and speeds up case sealing verification during high-volume production.
What surfaces provide the best adhesion?
Crepe paper masking tape adheres best to corrugated cardboard, kraft paper, and case sealing surfaces. Ensure surfaces are clean and dry for maximum bond strength. Adhesion may reduce on heavily printed or waxed surfaces.
Is this tape suitable for outdoor or cold storage?
This tape is rated for medium-temperature applications, making it ideal for standard warehouse and shipping conditions (typically 50-75°F). For cold storage or high-heat applications, consult with Packrift for temperature-specific alternatives.
