Common questions
Will this tape work with standard packing line dispensers?
Yes. The 2" width and standard roll core are compatible with most industrial tape dispensers. The crepe paper backing feeds smoothly without binding or tearing, maintaining consistent application speed across your production line.
What's the difference between 5.5 mil and thinner masking tapes?
The 5.5 mil thickness provides thicker backing for better conformability on irregular surfaces and curves without bunching or gaps. This premium thickness reduces seepage and rework, lowering overall cost-per-unit across high-volume operations.
Can I use this tape outdoors, and how long will it stay put?
Yes, it's rated for both indoor and outdoor use up to 100°F. The rubber adhesive provides strong initial tack while maintaining clean 3-day removal, preventing substrate damage and adhesive residue that can compromise subsequent operations.
How many linear feet are in this 12-pack case?
This case contains 12 rolls x 60 yards per roll = 720 total linear yards (2,160 linear feet). For a typical 2" wide application, this equals approximately 360 square feet of coverage per case.
