Common questions
Will this tape work with our standard tape dispenser equipment?
Yes. 3M 2307 features standard core compatibility with all industry-standard tape dispensers used in packing lines. The 2" width and rubber adhesive formula ensure smooth feeding and consistent dispenser use without jams or adhesive buildup.
Does this tape leave residue when removed from stainless steel production equipment?
No. The rubber adhesive and crepe paper backing formula removes clean from both powder coated and stainless steel surfaces without leaving adhesive residue, adhesion marks, or surface damage, critical for maintaining equipment integrity on high-speed lines.
What temperature conditions will this masking tape withstand?
3M 2307 withstands temperatures up to 200°F for continuous exposure up to 1 hour. This performance level suits most industrial case sealing and masking applications, though you should verify specific process requirements for extended high-heat exposure.
How many total linear yards are in a case, and what's the typical usage rate for packing lines?
One case contains 24 rolls x 60 yards = 1,440 linear yards of 2" tape. Usage depends on case dimensions and sealing patterns, most mid-size operations report one case supporting 4 - 7 days of production. Ordering in cases ensures consistent adhesion performance and dispenser compatibility.
