Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing dispenser equipment?
Yes. The 3-inch paper core is the industry standard and compatible with most commercial tape dispensers used on packing lines. Verify your dispenser's core specifications before ordering to ensure use.
How does the 5.5 mil thickness compare to standard masking tape?
At 5.5 mil, this crepe paper is significantly heavier than economy alternatives (typically 3-4 mil), providing tear resistance, better holding power on uneven surfaces, and fewer slivers, reducing downtime and rework on production lines.
Can this tape handle temperatures above 250°F?
The adhesive maintains integrity for up to 30 minutes at 250°F. For sustained high-temperature exposure beyond this, consult our technical team or consider specialized high-temperature masking products designed for extended thermal exposure.
Why does this tape resist curling and lifting?
The rubber adhesive formulation grips instantly without pressure-sensitive delay, and the heavy crepe backing's internal strength prevents edge curling. Combined adhesion and material rigidity eliminate the lifting issues common with lighter-weight alternatives on irregular surfaces.
