Common questions
Will this tape damage painted surfaces when removed?
No. The rubber-based adhesive on the crepe paper backing provides clean removal without paint pull or residue transfer, making it ideal for masking finished surfaces during secondary operations or repainting.
Is this tape compatible with standard industrial tape dispensers?
Yes. The 2" x 60 yds. format fits all standard handheld and stationary tape dispensers commonly used on packing lines, ensuring use without equipment modifications.
How does this tape perform on irregular or curved surfaces?
The crepe paper backing offers conformability to uneven core surfaces, bundled items, and textured equipment, critical for preventing tape slippage and maintaining seal integrity on non-uniform substrates.
Can I use this tape for hot-seal or heat-sensitive applications?
Yes. This tape withstands up to 225°F for 30 minutes, making it suitable for post-paint curing lines and thermal seal applications without adhesive degradation or tape failure.
