About this item
SKU T9436B — 36 yds. × 36 yds., 6.0 Mil, Blue. Sold as a case of 12, shipped from US warehouses.
4 in x 36 yd 6.0 mil blue heavy-duty vinyl safety tape 12 per case. Marks aisles, hazards, and walkways on facility floors. This is the blue version; black and green options are separate listings. Sold 12 per case (one case = 12 rolls). Lays down lines, zones, and warnings on work floors. For floor marking and hazard striping across the plant.
Common questions
Will this blue safety tape adhere properly to concrete warehouse floors or does it require surface preparation?
Yes, the solid vinyl formulation bonds immediately to clean, dry concrete without primer. For best adhesion on oily or dusty floors common in packing areas, wipe surfaces with mild soap and allow 30 minutes cure time before heavy foot traffic. This prevents peeling during high-activity periods.
Is this tape compatible with standard manual and electric tape dispensers used on packing lines?
Yes. The 4" width and standard roll core fit all commercial tape dispensers. The 6.0 mil thickness feeds smoothly without jamming, and the tape cuts cleanly for rapid application during fast-paced packing operations, no core compatibility issues.
How long does the blue color remain visible in areas exposed to UV light or chemical splashes from cleaning?
The vinyl formulation resists fading and chemical degradation for 12-18 months in typical warehouse conditions. In direct sunlight or high-chemical environments, color retention may reduce to 6-9 months. Plan periodic replacement as part of quarterly safety maintenance.
Can this tape seal cardboard cases or is it only for floor marking?
This product is designed for safety marking and hazard identification, not case sealing. For case sealing, use Tape Logic carton sealing tape. The vinyl safety tape's permanent adhesion to cardboard makes it unsuitable for case opening and creates disposal issues.
