Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing carton sealing dispenser?
Yes. The 4-inch width is the industry standard for most industrial tape applicators and hand-held dispensers. Verify your dispenser accepts rolls up to 6.0 mil thickness; this heavy-duty gauge works with all standard Tape Logic compatible equipment, though it may run slightly slower on older pneumatic heads.
How does this tape perform on contaminated or dusty carton surfaces?
The vinyl formulation adheres exceptionally well to oily, greasy, and dusty surfaces where standard polypropylene tape fails. The 6.0 mil construction cuts through light surface contamination, though clean cartons will always provide optimal adhesion and seal strength.
What is the shelf life and storage requirement for this tape?
Tape Logic vinyl tape maintains full adhesion strength for 12+ months when stored at room temperature (65, 75°F) on a flat surface away from direct sunlight. Store in a cool, dry area; avoid high heat or humidity that may cause the adhesive to dry out or the core to warp.
Can I use this white tape for safety marking instead of colored variants?
While white vinyl tape is durable for general sealing, Tape Logic offers industry-standard color options (yellow, red, green, orange, black, blue, purple) specifically designed for ANSI-compliant safety and hazard marking. Use the appropriate color per OSHA guidelines for boundaries, fire protection, first aid, and biohazard applications.
