Common questions
Will this tape work with standard carton sealing dispensers?
Yes. The 3/4" width and flatback paper design are compatible with all major industrial tape dispensers including Tesa, Marshalltown, and 3M branded dispensers. The rigid core and consistent backing thickness ensure smooth feed and prevent dispenser jams.
What's the adhesion strength difference between 2525 and other 3M flatback tapes?
The 3M 2525 offers high adhesion strength specifically engineered for demanding industrial applications. The rubber adhesive formulation provides holding on corrugated surfaces compared to synthetic adhesive alternatives, reducing case separation failures during transit.
Does this tape leave residue on case flaps when removed?
No. The flatback paper backing and controlled rubber adhesive are specifically designed to remove cleanly without leaving sticky residue, making it ideal for cases requiring re-opening, rework, or secondary packaging operations.
How does moisture affect tape performance on my packing line?
The moisture-resistant formulation prevents adhesive degradation in humid environments typical of warehouses and packaging facilities. This maintains consistent seal strength throughout the production shift, eliminating mid-shift tape replacement and line downtime.
