Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing 3-inch tape dispenser?
Yes. Tape Logic #5300 flatback tape is engineered for core compatibility with all standard 3-inch tape dispensers. The 60-yard roll fits universally on most packing line equipment without modification or adapter accessories.
Can I hand-tear this tape or do I need a dispenser?
This tape hand-tears cleanly without a dispenser, making it ideal for backup sealing, irregular box sizes, or emergency packing situations. However, using a standard dispenser accelerates line speed and reduces operator fatigue on high-volume production runs.
Does this tape seal reliably in cold storage or humid environments?
Absolutely. The aggressive adhesive formula maintains secure sealing across wide temperature and humidity ranges, critical for facilities with climate variation between production floors, warehouse storage, and shipping dock areas. Testing confirms consistent performance from freezer-temperature logistics to humid regional climates.
Why choose kraft flatback tape over plastic shipping tape?
Kraft flatback tape reduces per-carton weight for measurable shipping cost savings, writes clearly for direct box labeling without label stock, and is fully recyclable for sustainability compliance. The aggressive adhesive delivers equivalent sealing strength while the lightweight design cuts dimensional weight charges on LTL and parcel shipments.
