Common questions
Does this tape require a dispenser or water activation?
No. Tape Logic #5300 Kraft Flatback Tape is pressure-sensitive and hand-tearable, requiring no dispenser equipment, water, or special tools. Workers simply tear off the desired length and apply directly to cartons, reducing equipment costs and maintenance downtime on your packing line.
Will this tape hold securely in variable temperature and humidity conditions?
Yes. The aggressive adhesive formulation maintains consistent bond strength across a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions typical in warehouses, distribution centers, and shipping environments, reducing the risk of seal failure during storage and transit.
Can we write on this tape for labeling and tracking?
Yes. The kraft paper surface is writable, allowing supervisors and operators to mark lot numbers, destinations, handling instructions, or other information directly on sealed cartons without additional labels or equipment.
How does this tape compare to masking tape and other alternatives?
Tape Logic #5300 is significantly stronger than masking tape and provides holding power for heavy cartons. The combination of aggressive adhesion, lightweight construction, and hand-application ease makes it more cost-effective than water-activated tape while delivering equivalent or better seal integrity for most carton sealing applications.
