Common questions
Is this tape compatible with standard dispenser equipment on my packing line?
Yes. This double-sided masking tape is optimized for use with the Tape Logic Double-Sided Desktop Dispenser (TDDC926). The 2" width and core dimensions are standard across Packrift dispenser models, ensuring use with your existing equipment.
What adhesive strength can I expect for case sealing applications?
The double-coated rubber pressure-sensitive adhesive provides immediate tack with strong hold on paper, foil, film, and fabric. This formulation delivers consistent adhesion across repeated applications, critical for high-speed case sealing where bond failure creates downtime.
How does the 7-mil crepe construction improve line efficiency?
The hand-tearable crepe paper backing allows operators to tear tape cleanly by hand without scissors or secondary tools, reducing splicing time and labor costs. This is especially valuable in high-volume splicing where manual tearing accelerates changeovers and reduces dispenser strain.
Can this tape handle the temperature range in our facility?
Yes. The 50-225°F service temperature range covers most industrial packing environments, from climate-controlled warehouses to hot-seal and case-sealing operations. Verify your specific process temperature falls within this range for optimal adhesive performance.
