About this item

Common questions
Will this tape adhere to wet or damp corrugated boxes?
Yes. The rubber adhesive sticks on contact to damp surfaces, and the vinyl backing resists moisture absorption, making it ideal for cool storage environments and humid packing areas. However, for best results, wipe excess moisture from the box surface before application.
Is this tape compatible with automatic case sealing equipment?
The 1/4" width is designed for manual application and handheld dispensers, not for inline automated dispensers. For high-speed automation, consult our 2" or 3" width vinyl tapes that fit standard case sealing machines.
How long does the adhesive stay tacky before application?
This tape does not require drying time. The rubber adhesive is contact-activated, meaning it grips the moment the tape touches the surface. There is no risk of the adhesive drying out before use.
What chemicals will degrade this tape?
The 5.2 mil vinyl backing resists most acids and alkaline chemicals found in food, pharmaceutical, and logistics environments. However, strong solvents (acetone, xylene) and extreme heat above 140°F may reduce adhesion. For chemical-specific compatibility, refer to the technical data sheet.
