Common questions
Is this tape compatible with high-speed automatic dispensers?
Yes. Scotch® Magic™ Tape 810 pulls smoothly off the roll and cuts cleanly, making it ideal for both manual and automatic tape dispensers. Check our Dispensers section for compatible models that optimize speed and reduce jam issues on your packing line.
Will the adhesive hold permanently on cardboard case seals?
Absolutely. The permanent synthetic adhesive provides lasting bonds on cardboard, kraft, and paper surfaces. It resists splitting and tearing during application and maintains seal integrity throughout shipping and storage, no re-taping required.
Does this tape yellow or deteriorate over time?
No. Scotch® Magic™ Tape 810 is specially formulated to resist yellowing and drying out, ensuring your sealed cases maintain a professional appearance whether stored short-term or kept in inventory for extended periods.
Can supervisors write on sealed cases with this tape applied?
Yes. The transparent, writable surface allows supervisors to mark shipping details, barcodes, and handling instructions directly over the tape using pencil, pen, or marker without adhesion loss.
