Common questions
Is Scotch® Transparent Tape 600 compatible with standard tape dispensers?
Yes. This tape is fully compatible with most industrial and standard handheld dispensers. View our complete dispenser selection to find the right applicator for your packing line setup and volume requirements.
How does 2.3-mil thickness compare to standard tape for case sealing?
The 2.3-mil thickness provides optimal balance between adhesion strength and dispenser feed reliability. It prevents tearing during application while maintaining consistent adhesion to cardboard and kraft paper cores, reducing seal failures in transit.
Will this tape yellow or dry out over time on sealed cases?
No. The acrylic adhesive formulation is engineered to resist yellowing and drying, maintaining seal integrity through extended storage, temperature fluctuations, and humidity changes common in warehouse and shipping environments.
Why choose a 72-yard roll for high-volume packing operations?
The 72-yard length reduces roll changeover frequency on active packing lines, improving supervisor efficiency and throughput. Ordering by the case (36 rolls) provides consistent supply while simplifying inventory management and cost-per-application tracking.
