Common questions
Will this tape stick to cardboard and corrugated surfaces without additional primers?
Yes. The rubber adhesive in 3M 764 bonds instantly on contact with cardboard, corrugated, kraft, and most industrial surfaces. No priming, solvents, or drying time required, tape grabs immediately upon application.
How does this tape perform in cold storage or freezer environments?
The vinyl backing and rubber adhesive maintain flexibility and bond strength in cold conditions. However, for extreme freezer applications below -10°F, consult the technical data sheet or contact our support team for optimal core dispenser compatibility.
Is the blue color suitable for inventory tracking or warehouse coding?
Absolutely. The vivid blue maintains its color even under abrasion and solvent exposure, making it ideal for long-term package identification, color-coding systems, and visual sorting throughout the supply chain.
What dispenser equipment is compatible with 2" x 36 yard rolls?
3M 764 tape fits standard 2-inch core dispensers and handheld applicators. Verify your dispenser's core bore size (typically 3-inch cores) and maximum roll width capacity before ordering. Refer to the product data sheet for detailed compatibility specifications.
