Common questions
Will this tape work with standard carton tape dispensers?
Yes. The 2" width and standard 36-yard roll length are compatible with most manual and pneumatic tape dispensers used in packing operations. Verify your dispenser width capacity (2" rated) before use.
How does this tape perform on corrugated cardboard?
The rubber adhesive bonds instantly to cardboard surfaces without dripping or drying time, ensuring secure case sealing even at high production speeds. The vinyl backing resists moisture from humid warehouse conditions.
Is yellow tape better for case identification than clear tape?
Yes. Yellow vinyl tape provides high visibility for package routing, quality control checkpoints, and special handling alerts. The vivid color resists fading even with abrasion and solvent exposure, maintaining visibility throughout the supply chain.
What makes this 3M 764 better than generic vinyl tape?
3M 764 features formulated rubber adhesive for instant contact adhesion with no cleanup, vinyl durability against chemicals and weathering, and consistent performance across diverse packing environments, reducing production delays from tape failures.
