Common questions
Will this tape work with my existing case sealing machine and dispenser?
Yes. The 2-inch width and standard 3-inch cardboard core fit all commercial tape dispensers and automatic sealing equipment. Verify your dispenser accepts 60-yard rolls for continuous operation without frequent roll changes.
How does the 10 mil thickness compare to standard duct tape for case sealing?
The 10 mil construction provides 2-3x greater puncture and tear resistance than standard 6 mil tape, reducing box damage claims and ensuring tamper-evident seals. Thicker material also reduces stretching during application, maintaining seal integrity under pressure and temperature fluctuations.
Does yellow tape adhere as well as silver or clear duct tape?
Adhesion is identical across all Tape Logic colors, the aggressive acrylic adhesive formula bonds equally to cardboard, metal, and plastic. Yellow's visibility advantage reduces packing errors and speeds quality inspections without sacrificing bond strength.
What's the shelf life, and does moisture affect the adhesive?
Stored in cool, dry conditions (50-75°F), rolls remain usable for 2+ years. The moisture-resistant polyethylene coating protects the adhesive core from humidity, ensuring consistent performance even in high-moisture warehouse environments. Avoid storage near heat sources or direct sunlight.
