Common questions
Will this tape damage my dispenser or leave adhesive buildup?
No. The 11 mil synthetic cloth and adhesive formula are designed to unwind cleanly without residue accumulation on roller mechanisms. Regular users report extended dispenser maintenance intervals compared to standard masking tapes.
Is this tape compatible with automated tape applicators on high-speed lines?
Yes. The consistent 2-inch width, uniform thickness, and balanced tensile strength (36 lbs) make this tape ideal for semi-automated and fully automated dispenser systems. The non-reflective finish also prevents sensor interference on vision-guided packing equipment.
Can I use this for outdoor shipping and storage?
Yes. This gaffers tape is rated for both indoor and outdoor use, making it suitable for protecting bundled shipments during transit and weathered storage conditions without degradation or adhesive failure.
How many linear feet does one case cover?
Each case contains 180 linear yards (540 linear feet) of 2-inch tape, three 60-yard rolls. For typical case sealing on 12x12x12 boxes, this covers approximately 270-300 cases depending on sealing pattern.
