Common questions
Will this tape work with standard 3-inch core dispensers used on our packing line?
Yes. This gaffers tape features a standard 3" paper core, making it fully compatible with all industrial tape dispensers and handheld applicators commonly found in packing operations. The 2" width is ideal for single-hand application without causing dispenser jams.
Does the adhesive leave residue when removed from equipment or concrete floors?
No. The adhesive is specifically formulated to release cleanly without sticky buildup, even after extended contact. This residue-free performance is critical for maintaining hygienic packing areas and preventing adhesive accumulation on dispenser rollers that can slow operations.
Can we use this for both warehouse interior and outdoor dock applications?
Absolutely. The 11 mil polyester coating provides weather resistance for outdoor loading docks and cross-dock operations, while the non-reflective surface performs equally well in indoor warehouse environments where glare from fluorescent lighting is a concern.
What is the tensile strength and why does it matter for securing items on a packing line?
At 36 lb. tensile strength, this tape resists tearing even under moderate pulling force, ensuring that secured wires, cables, and temporary fixtures remain in place during active packing operations. This strength-to-width ratio minimizes product slippage and reduces re-work, improving line efficiency and safety.
