Common questions
Will this gaffers tape leave residue on cardboard boxes or equipment surfaces?
No. Tape Logic gaffers tape is specifically formulated with rubber adhesive that bonds securely without leaving sticky residue when removed, making it ideal for case sealing, equipment setup, and temporary wiring solutions on sensitive surfaces.
Is this tape suitable for outdoor use in variable weather conditions?
Yes. This 11 mil fluorescent yellow gaffers tape is rated for both indoor and outdoor use. The durable rubber-based adhesive maintains its hold in temperature fluctuations and humidity, making it reliable for loading docks, outdoor staging areas, and weather-exposed equipment.
How much holding power does a 2-inch width provide for securing cases and wires?
With 36 lb. tensile strength, each 2-inch width is designed to hold securely under moderate stress. For case sealing on packing lines, a 2-inch width is the industry standard for bundling and securing without over-taping, reducing material costs while maintaining case integrity.
Why choose fluorescent yellow tape for a packing line instead of standard colors?
Fluorescent yellow provides high visibility in low-light warehouse and production environments, helping your team quickly identify secured areas, obstacles, and properly sealed cases. This reduces safety risks, speeds up line operations, and ensures compliance with OSHA workplace visibility standards.
