Common questions
Will this tape work with standard case sealing dispensers on my packing line?
Yes. The 2" width and standard roll core fit most commercial tape dispensers used in case sealing operations. Test compatibility with your specific dispenser model before bulk ordering; aggressive adhesive may require slightly slower hand application on manual systems.
How does the aggressive adhesive perform on rough corrugated surfaces?
The 3M 6969 formulation is engineered to grip immediately to textured, dusty, and slightly oily corrugated surfaces without requiring excessive pressure. The flexible backing conforms to irregular surfaces, reducing edge lift and ensuring seal integrity throughout the shipping cycle.
Is this tape waterproof for outdoor storage or refrigerated environments?
Yes. The polyethylene backing provides strong resistance to moisture, humidity, and temperature fluctuations. It maintains adhesive strength in damp conditions and is suitable for sealed cases stored outdoors or in climate-controlled warehouses.
Can I write on this tape for labeling purposes?
Yes. The writable surface accepts markers, pens, and label stock, enabling supervisors to mark case contents, dates, or destination codes directly on the sealed seam for tracking and quality verification without additional labeling steps.
