Common questions
Will this tape work with standard tape dispensers on our packing line?
Yes. The 11 mil thickness and 36 lb. tensile strength are optimized for automated and manual dispensers. The cloth-based construction prevents tearing during application, and the non-residue formula won't gum up dispenser rollers or require frequent cleaning.
Does this tape leave adhesive residue on sealed cases?
No. Tape Logic Gaffers Tape is specifically formulated as a non-residue tape, meaning clean removal without adhesive transfer to case surfaces, equipment, or dispenser components, critical for maintaining product appearance and equipment longevity.
Can we use this tape for both case sealing and wire/cable management?
Absolutely. The adhesion works on cardboard, wood, concrete, and carpet, making it ideal for multi-purpose packing line applications including case closure, temporary cable routing, and equipment repairs without surface damage.
Is the black tape reflective, and why does that matter?
No, this is non-reflective black tape, which eliminates glare on packing lines and improves visual consistency in case labeling and documentation photos. This is especially valuable for facilities with video monitoring or quality control imaging systems.
