Common questions
Do these pouch tape pads require a dispenser?
No. 3M 830 pouch tape pads are dispenserless, with adhesive pre-applied to the back. Simply peel and stick directly to carton surfaces, eliminating equipment cost and maintenance while accelerating your packing line throughput.
Will the adhesive bond to corrugate and coated surfaces?
Yes. The 2.5 mil acrylic adhesive is engineered for strong, immediate adhesion to corrugated cardboard, kraft paper, and film surfaces commonly found on sealed cases and shipping containers.
Can I see through these pads to verify barcodes and labels?
Yes. The clear construction maintains full visibility of underlying surfaces, allowing barcode readers and sorting systems to function without obstruction while protecting enclosed documents.
How many pads are in each case, and what's the cost per pad?
Each case contains 40 individual 5" x 6" pads. This bulk format reduces per-unit cost and minimizes reordering frequency for supervisors managing high-volume daily shipping operations.
