Common questions
Will these 24" strips work with my current tape dispenser?
Yes. These strips are engineered for 3" core compatibility with all major manual and automatic dispensers (Uline, Intertape, 3M models). Pre-cut length eliminates measurement and fits standard dispenser guides, verify your dispenser accepts 2" tape width.
How long does the adhesive bond take to set on different carton materials?
Aggressive acrylic adhesive provides immediate tack within 1-2 seconds on kraft and corrugated surfaces. Full cure strength develops within 24 hours, but sealed cases are shippable immediately with sufficient hold strength for normal handling.
What's the adhesion strength on wet or cold corrugated boxes?
These strips maintain consistent 3.5+ lb/inch adhesion on standard corrugated at 40-85°F and up to 60% humidity. For cold storage or refrigerated cases, we recommend our Cold-Bond formulation; contact support for temperature-specific recommendations.
Can I use these for automatic case sealers or only hand dispensers?
Compatible with both manual hand dispensers and automatic case sealing machines. The 3" core and consistent strip length ensure reliable feed through most conveyor systems; test with your equipment settings before full-scale deployment.
